Halloween 2011

This Halloween our kids got double the candy!  First we were able to attend our ward's Trunk-or-Treat.  It was also a chili cook off and we ate some pretty yummy chili.  I made a spicy white chili, which has since become one of my favorites.  We got to listen to some pretty rockin' music as well that night from a band that included two of our ward members.  Of course the highlight for the kids was getting all the candy at the end.
Makenna only wore her costume for about 30 seconds, so we had to hurry and take this one.

On Halloween night, we invited 3 families over for soup and bread sticks, before heading outdoors for the trick-or-treating.  Hayden this year was Iron Man, Tanner was some sort of Power Ranger guy (not sure), Maren was Tinker Bell, and Makenna was supposed to be a candy corn.  She refused to leave her costume on so she ended up wearing some cute skeleton pajamas.
