Makenna's Blessing

The 18th was a special Sunday for us. We chose that day to bless Makenna . We were excited to have my parents come (see previous post) as well as Dave's parents, sister, and nieces. The evening prior we enjoyed visiting with everyone and had some yummy taco soup. Dave did a great job with the blessing the next day - I'm so grateful he holds he priesthood and can do this for our children. We thought Makenna was going to cry during the blessing but calmed down after a few seconds. After Sacrament meeting we came home to have brunch. We ate my favorite egg, sausage casserole, muffins and some fruit. My parents had to leave that afternoon and Dave's family left that night, so it was a short, yet sweet visit.
