Halloween

This is extremely late, but I still wanted to post about Halloween. We had the Boggess and Cobia families over for dinner (soups and a to-die-for chocolate cheesecake made by Janene) and then all went trick-or-treating. Maren was not quite sure she wanted to wear a costume and walk around outside with a pumpkin basket. But after the first house she realized she got candy and eagerly went to the next house. After each house she would say "Look!!!! Candy!!! while holding up the candy she got. She and the rest of the younger kids didn't make it very long, but the older kids stayed out a bit later with the dads. They got a lot of candy and we are still trying to eat it!

Makenna braving the brisk temps
Tanner the pirate and Hayden as Batman
Lauryn, Bradley, Hayden and Tanner (Somehow we didn't get a picture with the Boggess kids)
Maren as a candy corn (still fit from last year)
The kids carving their pumpkins

Cute kids, and cute costumes! Still love the candy corn...how nice would it be to have kids that can wear their costumes twice!? Mine grow too fast.

I love the candy corn costume. Your kids looked adorable. I think we need to be like you and stick with the good guy theme for next year. Glad you had fun.

Logan saw the picture of Tanner and Hayden and said, "Awesome." It looks like it wasn't too cold; that always makes trick-or-treating easier.
